The author has created a layered and intriguing character in the protagonist, Robert. By having this character suffer from mental issues the author plays on emotions within the audience that make us feel for him but also question what he is going to do next. Robert is a strange character who, at all times throughout the narrative, seems to be on the brink of a mental breakdown. There are moments within this script where Robert’s actions are described perfectly and work in a way that creates a powerful story arc.
